Unfortunately, I had another oncologist at another medical facility when I started my cancer journey. It didn’t go well. I wasn’t informed about how chemo treatments worked and the first treatment didn’t go well at all. There was no communication between the doctor and me which left me with so much anxiety. My husband and I made the decision to change doctors after my treatment. Dr. Spector was recommended and I feel so fortunate to have become one of his patients. Thank you Dr. Spector!!

Dr.Spector is always ready to spend anytime i need him to to answer any questions i may have or discuss anything i may want to talk about otherwise he very efficiently addresses the reason for our meeting and we both can move on eith the rest of our days

I was going to make an appointment at UnityPoint, because your hospital is out of my network, and these bills are expensive for me. But after speaking with Dr Spector, I decided to stay with him at MercyOne!

Did not take the time to let me explain my concerns. Not even sure my labs were reviewed as he stated “did they draw your b12? I’m sure they did” then moved on. Very much getting as many patients in and out as possible. That’s the feeling I got
