Dr. Gaines is a very knowledgeable and kind primary care provider who I feel takes care of my entire self, both physical and mental health. In this day and age of doctors treating you like a number and just trying to get you in and out of the practice as quickly as possible… Dr. Gaines is a unicorn. All patients should be lucky enough to have such a capable and kind provider taking care of them.

Dr Gaines is the best physician I have ever had . Not only does he provide wonderful care but he teaches you . I learn something every visit , he takes his time regardless how busy he is and is so empathetic. I travel 1.5 hr to see him

Dr. Gaines takes genuine interest in me as a patient, and when he asks questions he truly listens to the answers and offers multiple options. It's clear he cares about his patients, and it's also clear that he stays very much on top of the "state of the art" and recent studies when it comes to treatments. I'm comfortable talking with Dr. Gaines about all of my concerns.

Dr. Gaines is an exceptional primary care physician. He is caring, compassionate and thorough. I'm always at ease with him and know that I can talk openly and honestly with him about any health issues. He is genuinely interested in my wellbeing and, despite his busy schedule, I never feel rushed. He and his entire staff are a great asset for St. Mary's Health Care System.
