I very much appreciate the time that Dr. David Fernandez took to be thorough and explicit during my visit. He also called my PT doctor -Dr. Gregory [ ] (HSS AFFILIATE) - during my visit, to share opinions with him on my medical progress. Dr. Fernandez's evaluation of my IBM status was "positive" , all things considered. It boosted my moral to keep on fighting !!!

Dr. Fernandez was very patient. He listened carefully while taking my medical history. He explained the specifics about the disease I was concerned about and answered all of my questions. He reassured me that I was not exhibiting the symptoms of the disease and suggested a second blood test which he feels will come back negative for the antibody in question.

takes time to explain his opinions, always answers my questions without rushing- knows his stuff-doesn't sugarcoat. Very pleasant, upbeat bedside manner. Always responds promptly to additional questions I may have after my visit. Very happy with HSS.

Dr. Fernandez explained my test results and answered my questions is a manner I understood. He is a good listener and shows compassion about what I was feeling. He is an excellent doctor and an asset to HSS.
