Doctor and staff exceeded what I expected. I was anxious about my problem which brought me to Dr Ellington and UAB medicine. The care I received was thorough, explained, not rushed and eased some of my anxiety. I was treated like a "patient " not another number. Also, offered and scheduled follow up. Is good patient care available for me? Yes, with UAB Medicine!

This was my first time seeing Dr Ellington. I was nervous and anxious about the visit and exam. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with educated , compassionate staff. Everything was explained to me by folks who treated me as if I were a close friend or family. My new pt experience was fabulous.

Dr. David Ellington is the kindness, compassionate, knowledgeable doctor I’ve ever met. He did exactly what I wanted and made sure I was taken care of. I did not have one worry with him taking care of me. Don’t ever let him go. He can help a lot of people with medical problems. Thankful for Dr. Ellington.

The staff are among some of the nicest and easiest to talk with and seem to be very knowledgeable and supportive. They listen and offer support and encouragement. They are always open and friendly and supportive. Dr Ellington is so kind and supportive. He listens and doesn't make you feel uncomfortable or awkward. I was so unsure on my first appointment but he immediately made my visit with him easy and so helpful. Dr Ellington made me feel hopeful for a better future and he didn't let me down. He is so sincere and kind. My way of life is now better because of him. My only regret is that I hadn't met him sooner. This is a great group of medical professionals. I can't say enough good things about them. They are definitely higher than a 10!!

Dr. Ellington was an excellent surgeon. I was well informed of what to expect. My outcome was better than I anticipated. He has a wonderful bedside manner and truly cares about his patients.

My surgery was a success! Not only is Dr. Ellington an outstanding doctor, surgeon, and leader, but he is also a kind, caring gentleman. I was impressed with his entire team as I went into surgery; it was obvious that he is respected by everyone on his team, and they were all incredibly professional and courteous. I continue to brag about Dr. Ellington and the excellent care that I received at UAB. Thank you!
