Everything went well. I just had a long wait time before they called me to the back. Other than that, everything went well

I waited 75 minutes after my appointment time to be called in. The intake was done by someone that worked in a different department. It was almost 2 hours after my appointment time until I saw the Dr. he was brusque and rushed. I understand things happen and people have bad days, but this experience created a bad day for me. This was my first appointment and I do not have a good first impression.

Everything about this process has been ‘assembly line’ oriented. The nice young technician who took me back to examine my eyes had my file in his hand, but asked breezily “So what brings you in today?” Really??? Apparently he saw no benefit to glancing at my chart before speaking. The surgeon gave me no indication of expected time frame for complete recovery, no comparison with recovery time for similar-age patients, etc. Never have I been through two surgeries and received so little information about my particular case and projected recovery period. Full and helpful information to the patient is just not part of this group’s method. Each visit has ended in disappointment, because there is no meaningful information on my particular case, no comparison with normal expectations, no serious acknowledgment of what I am experiencing each day.

This was particularly a pleasant experience for me. The appointment time was very close to th medical acessment prior to Dr. Joiner's examination. As usual the doc's procedural medthods and exam was professionally done and to the point.

Wonderful office staff. Excellent care by Dr. Joiner who is firm yet very caring and concerned about my eye care and my peace of mind. Totally impartial and respectful in his care. I have sincerely learned to trust his integrity and dedication to his pride in his work.

The experience was fine. Toward the end of my visit, when I was actually with the physician, the computers went down, so he could not see any of the test results.

Long wait but I'm retired so no problem. Dr. Joiner did my cataract surgery and I believe he is knowledgeable and very competent. I am changing to the Pelham office to decrease my drive. I am old.

My first visit to the Vestavia Clinic. Much better experience than my visits at the Pelham Clinic. Wait time to be seen by tech and then the doctor was reasonable.

Pre-op ad post-op staff great till out the door! Eye surgery very successful with virtually no pain! Correct lens, vision is much much improved. Thanks to Dr. Joiner for his experience andd expertise!!

Dr. Joiner and his entire staff do whatever it needs to meet all the medical and personal needs of each patient. EXAMPLE: They helped us immensely when we had TWO FLAT TIRES enroute from Montgomery! Then, when we finally arrived to Dr. Joiner's office after receiving road-repair service, they quickly and eagerly adjusted/entered us into their busy schedule. Dr. Joiner works closely with my other eye physicians to ensure my care is COMLETE!!!

My arrival was easy and secure, parked at 4th floor and walked directly to Dr. Joiner's offices. Staff was very friendly and the various exams and preparation to see Dr Joiner was efficient and timely.
