Over all experience with UAB is 100% better than any facility in Tuscaloosa

I was able to get an appointment ahead of time. I didn’t have to wait long before I was called in to the office. Nurse verified old information. Doctor seem interested and had did background information on me even though I was a new patient and he didn’t have time to get my most recent information. But he failed to provide information about where I actual go for my labs.

I came about an issue with my head...it was treated as if I had a cold. I left as confused about my issue as when I came.

Personnel are kind, attentive, friendly, patient. Doctor is interested in my physical problems and willing to solve them.

The wait was extremely long

UAB takes care of their patients. They make sure that you are comfortable and cared for when you are being seen by the doctor.

Dr Fijabi is an excellent internist

The portal to order meds is awesome. Having the students on routine to be able to still get care on an emergency is affective.

Everything went smoothly, Dr. Fijabi was great and was very helpful with answering my concerns.

All staff and providers were good listeners. I found them to be kind and caring.

Quick and easy Staff and doctors are nice and helpful

Dr Fijabi is a gifted physician. We reviewed test results in a thorough comprehensible way. He listens carefully and responds in kind. Dr F understood my complex medical history, I know my care from him will be excellent.

Despite my doctor being behind on time, the overall experience was fantastic, and I wanted to share my positive feedback. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. The person who checked me in and took my blood pressure and weight was especially noteworthy. They kept me informed about the delay and were exceptionally nice, which significantly impacted my overall experience. My doctor, as always, was kind and attentive. He conducted a thorough follow-up from our last appointment, and I greatly appreciated his attention to detail, level of care, and overall kindness. The seamless and easy process left me feeling healthy and confident—truly the best outcome one could hope for from a medical visit. Additionally, the ladies at the front desk were sweet and efficient, making the check-in and check-out processes super simple. Their friendly demeanor and professionalism added to the positive atmosphere of the clinic. Overall, I had a great experience at UAB Highlands. Thank you to the entire team for your exceptional service and dedication to patient care.
