I was extremely pleased with the amount of time Dr Harmon and his assistant took to check me out, explain in detail along with the pictures from my MRI and carefully explain what was wrong with my neck and back , what my symptoms were and how he felt we should go about treating it yet leaving the final decision up to me. He wasn't trying to rush me out as quickly as possible and seemed to be in no rush to make sure to answer any questions I might have. I had asked my pain management group to refer me to someone else for a 2nd opinion with one of UAB's best Neurosurgeons. All the reviews I'd read about Dr Harmon were very encouraging but my visit yesterday with the staff and the doctor himself left no doubt that I would be assured the best care possible in the hands of Dr Harmon. I feel I can trust him and his care completely.

Dr. Harmon took the time to explain what was taking place in my lower back and to recommend the least invasive treatment options.

Dr D. Harmon is 1 of a kind!! Truly cares if there are any ? He stakes the time to explain Thoroughly, unlike many Drs !!! I’ve seen many of his pts after he performed surgery & they seemed to do great ! I hope & pray it’s the same for me!!

I really appreciate Dr.Harmon not being a money hungry doctor. He could have recommended surgery, but he chose to take the less invasive approach and I so appreciate that.

I'm a very hard stick when it comes to drawing blood but the ladies there was so good it didn't hurt and she got blood I'm so happy with the pre-op people

Everyone was so courteous and helpful. From the nurse to the Nurse practitioner to the Doctor, they were very professional. They explained everything step by step. They made sure you understood what they were doing and gave good advice on what to do.
