Dr. Flewelling knew that I had a lot of anxiety about the procedure and really helped calm me. Basically we just had a really interesting conversation while he did his thing, and then it was over.

It was a great experience with something that I was nervous to do. The doctor and staff were very sensitive to this and reassured me the entire time

The Doctor took time to explain the results of a test ordered by my primary care physician, and how the numbers apply to different individuals. He performed an examination, and then explained options for the next step -- all very clearly. The nurse before the doctor arrived was very nice, too, and informed me that the doctor was with another patient and when he should be finished with that patient and in to see me.

The doctor is very nice. We discussed my issue but I had to wait a while in exam room. Hopefully he gets additional help with patients. So he is not pressed for time.

I love Dr. Flewelling! I have had chronic bladder and kidney issues and he has stuck to me like a dog with a bone. He worked on these issues until he found the cause and got it fixed. Great bedside manner, great communicator. This doctor will turn his chair around so his laptop is facing me and point to the screen and explain what he is looking at, regarding tests and results. He was great every time he came out to the lobby to speak with my husband. Wish they could all be more like him! Great doctor and all around nice guy!

Dr. Flewelling is always prepared with my history and recent test results. He clearly and respectfully discusses my health concerns and is proactive. When appropriate he consults with my other physicians, especially my oncologist to coordinate treatment etc. He is professional and friendly and is also interested in me as a person. Great doctor, great guy, great combination.

Dr. Flewelling is a great provider. He listens to my concerns, helps me come up with a health management plan, explains things thoroughly and in easy-to-understand language, and is empathetic. Dealing with health issues can be so tough, and he gets this. So glad he is my doctor!

Yesterday was my first experience with Dr. Flewelling due to Dr. Kaplan leaving the employ of IHA. I could not be better pleased with my choice to switch to Dr. Flewelling. He is extremely personable and has a very good sense of humor, plus he has would I describe as outstanding 'bedside manner'. He had taken the time to review my medical history and the issues that I have had so that when he came into the room, he was up to speed on my situation. Overall, an OUTSTANDING visit!
