Since being a patient with St. Joseph's cardiology I have not experienced anything that would justify any concerns about my treatment.

I called the prior week and staff returned my call with questions answered and prescription called to my pharmacy. I was given complete instructions for use by Dana Z. also.

For the first time I sensed that my care there was much less than what it used to be . First I asked and found out that from the NP that Dr. Simon is never returning . He was the best . the NP was not even aware of a recent SVT event with my Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy that scared the heck out of me because I believe I was on the cusp of passing out . Had to point it out to her and only got information about what it was by asking . She suggested that my fatigue might be sleep apnea and suggested a beta blocker that my records tel that I badly reacted to in the past .She then set me up to talk on the phone with Dr. Simon in three months . all this drove home how Want toes a real Dr. when I come in and sadly need to switch doctors at this point in time . Maybe she is overworked or it was a tired Friday afternoon , but it was not good for a patient .I am sure that she is excellent in her career but I need to talk with a cardiac doctor next time . My fib episode was picked up and reported to me by e-mail just hours after the episode on the Medtronic phone system .never heard a word about it until I had to bring it up .
