UAB is the only healthcare provider in Alabama that offers mole mapping for people at risk for serious skin cancer. I am one of those people. My wait was not too long. Having to take a day off work and drive two hours is my choice, but it is an consideration. I felt like the doctors who provided care were knowledgeable. I did think of several questions after I left so I am trying the patient portal

My experience was awesome. It first started with the front desk representative and then both nurses and doctors were awesome. The nurses and doctor made me feel at ease with my procedure. Truly a blessed experience!!

I am so incredibly pleased with the level of care that I receive from Dr Elmets and his staff. Prior to getting in with them I was sick and almost bedridden for months due to pain from my skin condition. Within one visit with the clinic I got my life back. I saw multiple dermatologist and types of doctors and not one single one was concerned with my current state or made an effort to get me better. I drive two hours to receive this level of care and will continue to do so.
