What else would you like to say about your experience?
Emily Cottrell is competent, caring, and "goes the extra mile" to ensure that all my questions are answered. I feel confident that with her, I am receiving the best medical treatment. My husband and I have nicknamed her to ourselves as "Saint Emily" because of her devotion to her patients.

The people over there have done the best they could, especially Cottrell. She's been real helpful. She's very concerned with my health. She does everything that she can to keep my health going. So I would recommend her in a minute.

What else would you like to say about your experience?
While visiting with Emily, I feel that she listened to me and understood what I was saying and she paid attention and actually helped me try to resolve the issues that I'm having. Instead of just trying to rush me through and move on to the next patient, she took the time to explain things and just treat me as a human. It was very, very refreshing.

Listens to everything that I have to say and takes her time listening. And answers all of my questions in a way that I understand them. Very compassionate staff. I like coming to my doctor's appointments there. I definitely get personalized care. Thank you so much BJC for having such good people there.

I had an unexpected episode. Which she caught immediately, and without hesitation, was sent to the ER. She was very caring and compassionate with me during the whole ordeal. And even involved my husband in the decision-making.

The staff on entry throughout the entire visit are always friendly, cheerful & helpful. Emily, the nurse practitioner is excellent at listening and communicating. She asks questions as needed to understand a concern I’ve brought up and her answer or explaination is always easily understood. Dialogue between us inspires confidence on my part.

What else would you like to say about your experience?
Emily Cottrell is amazing. She is always well versed in my medical issues, current meds and treatment when she enters the exam room. This gives me a very high level of confidence in our discussions. She is very thorough. She makes time for any questions and always clarifies our treatment plan before ending my exam. She coordinates with my PCP and other specialists (rheumatologist). She is also very pleasant in her professional manner and presents an attitude of really wanting to care for her patients.

Emily Cottrell NP goes above and beyond treating my lung conditions. I have had lung disease for many years , she has been the best Pulmonologist I have ever had. She is at Alton Pulmonology

I am always treated well there. Being deaf, it is a relief to have them make sure I can read their lips and understand.

Emily gives me the time that I need to explain how I feel and lists very well. She's very passionate and follows up with excellent questions and concerns. The treatment that I receive from her is excellent. My health has greatly improved! She always strives to make my health the best that it can be. I trust her decision-making on my health 100%. When I leave my visit with her, I am interjetic and pumped up and excited about feeling better. I feel blessed having such Excellent treatment. Thank you 😊
