After my bypass surgery I could not get my A1C under control. Nothing was working for me but After a few visits and medicine changes I now have my A1C below 6 and feel great.

Dr. Cotten was the most caring physician I have visited in a great while. She gives me hope that our medical profession is indeed in good hands. She listened and understood my concerns and explained everything in detail.

I’m relatively new to her practice as we moved out to the Athens area a little over two years ago so I had to change endocrinologist. I’ve appreciated actually seeing the doctor not the nurse practitioner like I did at my previous doctors office which I went to for around 20 years!! I only saw Dr. Jacobson twice in all those years!! I’ve trust Dr. Cotten and appreciate the care she shows!

Her practice is getting much busier. I sincerely hope she doesn't become disillusioned with her chosen profession (doctors face entirely too much pressure, from all directions, to cut visits shorter and work faster and see more and more patients in less and less time. She's too good to lose from direct patient care!
