Josh and Lydia are the bomb. Juggling me and other patients is tough, yet they manage to pull it off without me ever feeling left out. When I'm not annoying them with questions about my joints, I annoy them with random stuff like music, bread, and dancing.
But it's not all fun and games. Every time I'm there I give it my all. Once they ran out of heating pads, and I had to use a tiny one. That little guy is like me--trying his best. My thumb gets swole af. Sometimes I go too hard, and they remind me to take a break. I wish the world were filled with Joshes and Lydias.
The OTs aren't the only stars. The ladies up front answer every question I have, questions they've probably heard 10 times that day. Yet still they smile.
Any negatives? Minor ones. The bathroom lock is more busted than I am. Up front, I don't know who's available for check-in and who isn't. Occasionally there aren't enough chairs in the lobby. And lastly, the OTs need--and want--a bigger table; one of the OTs often has to stand and bend over like a gargoyle.
