Dr D was very professional & informative; he re-diagnosed a foot problem which had been wrongly diagnosed at another hospital, & he gave excellent non-surgical options for treatment!

HSS and Dr. D was able to give me my life back after getting no answers for years. I come from NJ and they’re always so patient and understanding. I have already recommended this hospital to others. I love this placed and I can’t speak highly enough about it

Dr. Demetracopoulos explained the procedure before surgery. After the surgery kept me and my family members updated about the successful surgery and provided clear instructions for the necessary precautions for proper rehab. He was very professional and respectful to us. Very much appreciate.

I feel so confident in my choice to have De Demetracopoulos do my ankle replacement surgery. Although it took 6 months to get an appointment with him it was totally worth the wait. I was worried he would rush us but it was quite the opposite. He took plenty of time to explain my issues in easy to understand terms along with all the options and his recommendations. He made sure to answer all of our questions. I feel I am in the best hands possible. Just wish I could do my post op follow up in the Paramus NJ office, as it is very difficult driving into NYC especially after surgery. That still will not stop me. Thanks for give the confidence to move forward. It’s been several years of ankle torture getting progressively worse.

Dr D was extremely thorough and patient with all of my questions pre-operation which instilled a degree of confidence. He was not overly cocky like many doctors but confident and informative.

Dr. Demetracopoulos met with my wife and I, just before my afternoon surgery to answer our last-minute questions, which we appreciated. I was even more appreciative that he took the time to see me 9.00pm that night to see how my post-op recovery was going. I'm glad to have him as my surgeon.

We were exceptionally well treated. I am an international patient living in Montreal. An IRM was required in order to provide a correct diagnostic. HSS performed the test in the hours following the consultation with doctor Demetracopoulos. Wonderful!
