He helped me by explaining what would happen before and during the EMG. I was also able to ask questions or just converse with him to distract me from the shocks and pokes.

Dr. Lyness took the time answering all my questions and explaining everything to me in detail about my issues. He made me feel like he truly cared about me as person.

He explained my condition and after giving me a treatment followed up by sending a prescription to my provider to help the condition from getting worse.

A few positive comments about how brave I was while being poked would have gone a long way with me. I was left feeling like I was just a job to do and get it done and move on, an object to poke to see if anything hurt, and a lot did!
