What could have been done to improve your experience?
Dr Coker seemed distracted and even made a crass comment to me which is uncharacteristic of him about me imagining symptoms or making them happen because I think they could which cut me to the Core.. He still hasn't gotten back to me with regard to my question on my eyes. None of this is consistent with how I have been treated in the past except for the last time as well. So I'm concerned something is happening to him or someone he loves. I do want to stay with him for the time being but if this is something that happens all the time then I will have to find a new doctor.

Yes. Dr. Coker. He has the patience of Jobe. Goes out of his way to explain your health situation and will work tirelessly with you to help you get better. Goes over MyChart test results in detail so you understand his recommendations.

Dr Coker is normally a great doctor and takes his time with patients but this time he was very rushed and didn't even listen to me. Maybe a bad day

I felt like a number. I felt like the dr was just checking boxes. I was asked questions about things that if he was looking at my chart were evident. I also felt like he was just looking for issues that were not there

Dr. O. Coker … truly the best of the best! I am quite grateful to be under his expert care! I say the above as being a medical patient for many years from the East Coast to the Midwest.

What could have been done to improve your experience?
The overall experience was good except for the main reason I came. It appears that the doctor doesn't know what they are walking into when they enter the exam room. By that time I have filled out my symptoms for online check-in. I am then asked about my symptoms, etc. by the nurse, and again a third time by the doctor. Whether or not this assessment is true, it comes off as a tactic to keep me busy while they read my information on their screen. So, 1., I don't feel like they're prepared, 2., I don't feel confident they can absorb the full content of my narrative or what's on their screen to my comfort level so 3., I don't feel confident that I was given the best treatment I could get. All in haste. Rushed and unprepared. I appreciate, and it is obvious, that you are trying to provide a good experience for the patients. And I know it must be a balancing act to treat as many people as possible in a timely manner, but the main thing should be the main thing. Thanks!

Dr Corker was very diligent in trying to figure out the best way to help me, very considerate and very very kind. He made a big difference in the day I was having and my situation. Very understanding but more so than that very thoughtful and trying to figure out how to help me.
