Being at the hospital is not traditionally something you associate with "fun" but the staff and doctors at Children's do such a wonderful job making it comfortable, welcoming and "fun" for the kids. My 3 year old had all day appointments with ultrasound, bloodwork and dr follow-up. You'd think that would have been miserable, but in his little mind it was all a field trip where he got prizes everywhere he went. Even with a somewhat traumatic blood draw (no one's fault), he still spent the evening telling me he "had a fun time at the hostable". I mean...that says everything doesn't it? For the parents, its obviously a different experience of stress and worry...but when you're kids are happy and not scared...THAT'S what really matters to you. Everyone went out of their way to make him feel special and it made a HUGE difference, thank you so so so much to everyone who helps make the best of a scary situation for the families who go through there!!

We continue to be amazed by the experience at this hospital. The radiology department and child life were excellent (specifically nurse Robyn and child life specialist Emily and therapy dog Josiah). In oncology, Dr. Pressey and his team are one of a kind. We are so grateful for CCHMC!

Dr Pressey, and his whole team are absolutely amazing. We travel several hours to see him and the team and we will continue to do so. Dr Pressey and the team treat us with such kindness, respect, and we trust their opinions very much. They gave us hope and knowledge in a very unknown and scary diagnosis with small cell ovarian cancer. I would say without a doubt that Dr Pressey and the team at Cincinnati are the best. You are all becoming world known! Thank you for everything.

My son and I have never felt so heard, and we have never felt so confident walking out of an appointment! I truly believe we finally found a doctor that will find out what’s going on with my son, and not just use a “bandaid” to mask the problem!
