Dr. Ahmad was very kind and explained things very clearly. I am blanking on our nurses name, but she was great as well! Anytime you are getting testing for your child, it is scary, but everyone we met put me at ease and I knew my daughter was in great hands!

Both the nurse and NP we saw that day made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. They talked directly to my son and listened to his needs and concerns. It was a great visit.

We had already talked with one immunologist (not at Children's) and were not given much information or any further plans. Dr. Evans really listened to what was going on. She had read all of [Patient Name]'s files before we got there. She had a lot of good information for us, but she stopped regularly to pause and see if we had questions or needed clarification. She is very knowledgeable and has a plan to help us figure out exactly what's going on, and how best to treat her. I actually teared up during the visit, because I felt like (after months of other appointments with other doctors) she actually heard us, and I felt hopeful that things could improve. I'm so thankful for her help!

I was fortunate enough to see Dr. Abonia and his team for a sickness I have had for years. I'm from Berea KY and when I was told that my Doctor here couldn't help me I became my own advocate and started searching for a specialist that could. I wanted a doctor with wonderful reviews and patient testimonials because I desperately needed help. That's how I found Dr. Abonia. I made the call, I explained what I was going through, and somehow an appointment opened up only 2 weeks later. Dr. Abonia is so wonderful and I now understand why he usually doesn't have appointments for months. I have never had a doctor and their team treat me with such care, understanding and patience. I also have never been fortunate enough to find a doctor that could help me with my conditions and then I met Dr. Abonia. When I walked into Cincinnati Children's hospital I had very little hope left. By the time I walked out, I had a new lease on life. I'm able to eat foods now that my body so desperately needed and it's all because I got the medical care I needed. I have suffered a long time and I am truly grateful for everything from Cincinnati Children's Hospital. From my Dr to the Lab and even the valet service that made my day so much better, I had the best experience possible!

As always, Dr. Evans was absolutely amazing as always! Our son loves going to his appointments because of Dr. Evans and how wonderful she is to him. She does such a good job connecting with him and making sure he feels comfortable. She also makes sure that my husband and I are good with every step we are taking in [Patient Name]'s OIT journey and makes sure to thoroughly explain things to make sure we understand everything that we are doing. She also does such a great job explaining what the future will look like during this OIT process and what to expect in future appointments. Nurse Tracey was also amazing! She was so caring and helpful for [Patient Name] and for us. She made sure to explain everything that was going on and make sure to check [Patient Name] every time very thoroughly each time she came in after his dose. She was very personable and kind.

My son graduated his OIT updosing yesterday. He has the chance to live a safer, more free life because of the care he has received from Dr Winslow and his incredible nursing staff. We are forever grateful for Dr Winslow’s many years dedicated to his education, training and research in this field. It has truly changed our lives for the good. We cannot sing their praises enough!

We have done mini food challenges, but this was the first time we have been with Dr. Devonshire. She was wonderful to work with and and made sure we fully understood what to expect for the day. And when we decided to not move forward with the challenge, she was very supportive and came up with another idea to make use of the appointment.

Dr. Evans is AMAZING! My daughter had a reaction during her peanut challenge and Dr. Evans was super compassionate and understand with all of my feelings. She had my daughter’s safety as her #1 priority. She wanted to make sure she was safe first before just telling me a bunch of information. Once I felt comfortable we sat and had conversations of everything and how we want to move forward with her allergy. She is even calling me today to just debrief about yesterday. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Evans more! She’s phenomenal and loves her patients like they’re her own. She’s super good with my daughter and loves to see her smile. Cincinnati Children’s is lucky to have her on the Allergy team!

The doctors (fellows and Dr. Abonia) spent a significant amount of time reviewing my daughter's records, taking an extensive history, and examining her. They related well to her as a teen, and she felt validated as a result of them talking with her, rather than to just us.
