I would recommend Dr. Chris Reising, and his staff, to anyone needing help with gastric issues. Dr. Reising performed a Heller Myotomy with fundoplication surgery on me in 2025. My specific esophageal/stomach anatomy produced a significant challenge, but Dr. Reising was determined to help me and he did!
I just had my one-year follow-up, and was again so grateful to have Dr. Reising, and his staff, in my corner. Dr Reising’s great skill, confidence, care, calm and honest demeanor give me hope for my future.

Dr Christopher Reising went the extra mile in my surgeries last year to get me up and going so I could get off a feeding tube, swallow and eat, again. There are not enough words to express the gratitude that he didn't give up on me. I'm the only patient of his where he experienced this kind of difficulty with the [medical condition]. But, it's not just his skills and determination. He has always treated me like a matter. For a [number] year old lady who's been widowed for [number] years and all alone - that's HUGE! I was struggling with the feeding tube, and what appeared to be a possible future of "no eating". He was such an encourager, along with being so skilled. I've thought a great deal about how fortunate I was to be "teamed" with Dr Reising, and his staff, during such a difficult time in my life. During this recent follow-up to surgery, he was very helpful in providing information about my condition and things to look for - I was very thankful he was honest and always, so kind! I feel better prepared to walk this journey after my recent visit. I tell anyone, and everyone, who's suffering from gastric issues to call and make an appointment with him. I do not hesitate to recommend Dr Chris Reising!!

Dr Reising says s very knowledgeable about my health condition. He is thorough and is gathering all information needed to provide me with the necessary procedures to get me healthy again. I am not having to wait months to see him, his staff or to have surgery. He worked me into his schedule to get me tests that I needed and made time for my upcoming surgery. No other doctor has treated me that way.

I learned a lot from Dr. Reising. He was polite, to the point and shared a very informative video with me on my condition. I appreciated his candor and he offered a fellowship after I seek advice from my team.

Because of Dr. Reising I am now free of my lifetime of GERD, acid reflux. He cares for his patients and he always maintains follow up to make sure his patients are still doing well.

Dr Reising is an excellent surgeon. He is very professional, caring and I believe he saved my life. I couldn't swallow anything. I would've just quit the feeding tube, it was so miserable..

Dr. Reising is a great example of what health care is about. He and his staff are a great team. My interview was very soon after my forst call and he was able to schedule my surhery for the next day! What a relief as I was in a lot of pain at the time. I really appreciate being a new member of the St. Alphonsus health plan.
