So basically the provider did a brief exam of my legs and said there is NOTHING wrong with my legs. Unfortunately the only way to determine any issue with the veins and/or arteries is via an ULTRASOUND and an appointment should include this. The provider first told me there is NOTHING wrong with my veins but if I want to get an ultrasound I will have to go to JFK. He then said I should come back after 2 months for a follow up but I am so confused follow up for WHAT if there is no issue with my veins. I waited for more than 2 months for this appointment confident I will get a solution for my leg pain but I am back at zero as I have no answer. For reference, I have done an ultrasound at another facility and they determined I have issues with my veins and this was to take a second opinion. I am wondering how can the doctor determine there is NO vein issue without an internal study or image? Provider seemed in a hurry as if he didnt want to "waste' time. I wasted $50 copay as well as my time and effort. No proper diagnosis was done, I felt. I did write back to the facility on the patient portal and haven't heard back.
