What could have been done to improve this visit?
I’m used to seeing Dr. [ ], but Dr. McDaniel was quite friendly. I’m not sure which nurse we saw just this past visit, but she was not very friendly, especially compared to everyone else in the department. Nonetheless, baby is safe and healthy. That’s all I ask for.

We usually don’t see Dr McDaniel just because we have always seen Dr Pitre for years . Dr McDaniel was phenomenal. She was very thorough. The right amount of concern yet calmness. We had a great visit.

My daughter has been terrified of going to the doctor for 2 years now. Dr. McDaniel, Leah, and staff were amazing. She actually left her appointment smiling, which I thought would be impossible. As parents, we also left with a clear understanding of her diagnosis. If I were able to, I’d switch myself to receive care at Thibodaux Regional Pediatric Clinic.

Was there anything outstanding?
On the day I had a scheduled appointment for one of my children, another of my children fell sick at school and was brought home. I called the clinic and asked if they could work my other child into the same appointment that was already scheduled. The clinic was very accommodating, and the staff took great care of both kids. As a working parent, these types of accommodations make a world of difference. Thank you for going the extra mile for those you care for and their families.

The only thing for me (and nothing to do with the staff) is that I wish we would be able to schedule online or reschedule online instead of having to call… most for convenience! Might be something worth looking into

The care my daughter received here from Dr. McDaniel was exceptional. She has been so thorough and informative throughout my daughter’s treatment and has made this experience smooth and worry free. I’m confident in her skills and am glad we have her at this office for my daughter’s treatment. I always praise her to anyone I meet that is going through a similar situation as my daughters and always recommend this children clinic.

Was there anything outstanding?
From the front desk to seeing Dr. McDaniel, everyone was so kind and welcoming. My son was nervous and about to cry, but Dr McDaniel immediately put him at ease by letting him “help” her during the exam. It completely took away his fear. She even sounded like Mrs. Rachel, which made him feel comfortable and familiar. He talked about Dr. McDaniel all day afterward.

Not only does she listen but she is also on the same page. She truly cares and understands concerns.

Dr. McDaniel and her staff were amazing! She was quick and efficient without making us feel rushed. She listened to all of my concerns and asked lots of questions and addressed everything. At the end of the visit she gave my son a Mickey Mouse sticker which is his favorite character and that made his day!

Two of my kids had an appointment one day, and my other two kids had an appointment scheduled for the next day. Dr. McDaniel was able to see all 4 of my kids the first day to avoid returning from out of town the next day. She was great at explaining to things to me without the distraction of the kids in the background. She also didn’t press me on the issue of not wanting to vaccinate my kids which was refreshing. I really appreciate her ability to listen intently and thorough care.
