Dr. O’Dowd, MD, is an excellent physician in my opinion. Listens to my concerns and also explains all test results in a manner which a lay-person can understand. She is very helpful and constructive with her recommendations.

[ ] came to Dr O’Dowd for [ ]. Dr O’Dowd saw us in the office. We were sent for a [ ] and she prescribed a med for [ ]. [ ] was in care flighted to Renown two days later. He was Renown’s first [ ] patient, diagnosed with a [ ]. What Dr O’Dowd had every reason to think was [ ] was something else entirely. But here’s the thing: the docs at [ ] said when she was [ ] for [ ], there were about 5 she could have picked from, and of those five she chose the one that gave [ ] the best chance to survive long enough to get to Renown and eventually on [ ]. [ ] incredible survival story starts with Dr O’Dowd. She gave him the best [ ] at the time and her decision to pick the med she did have us our first big break on survival. When [ ] was at Renown, Michelle called me every few days. I’m not sure how you thank someone for saving your life, but w will never forget what she did.

Yes Dr. O’Dowd is very through and very interested in why I was there. She listens very carefully and asks specific question on what your symptoms are. I never feel rushed. She asks background questions of what I have done snd anything different that lead up to my symptoms. I cannot say enough good about how excellent she is. She is an outstanding provider.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. O’Dowl , it feels so good to finally have a real doctor! Before I started with her, I just felt like a number. I might have to have surgery, which obviously isn’t something that she is going to perform being that that’s not her specialty, but I’ve gone in and spoke with her about it, and she explained everything to me, and made me feel comfortable, because it’s her I trust. She always spends enough time with me, and she knows who I am personally because of her devotion to her patients (I’m assuming) especially me! As a person she might be one of the most thoughtful and kind person I’ve ever met.

The doctor is relaxed and "communicates" that I am important by asking questions and getting into conversation before diving into the medical. This lets you know that you are essential.

I have always had positive feedback from Dr. O’DOWD, and she has always listened and been concerned about my health and various symptoms. This particular experience, she immediately took a blood test and scheduled a CT scan for the next day. The diagnosis was diverticulitis and I was immediately sent to the hospital for 3 days of care.

She is the first provider who actually made comments on [ ] reports prior to my meeting with her which was great.y appreciated and informative.
