A lot of the information given to me I felt like I had to dig for. Though I told 2 clinicians and one desk help that it was my first time to ever come to the clinic for ear work up, no one explained why they were doing what they were doing in the moment. Sometimes the PA spoke as if I should know what she was meaning when she was pointing to a graph that I had never seen before, especially for the implication of normal hearing values. If you show me a graph to make your point, shouldn’t I try to understand it? The audiologist seemed apathetic to whether I was there or not. Everyone was polite in explaining after I asked for clarification, but it seems like it would not have taken much effort to recognize that I was new to the process and experience so as to better deliver my own health information to me.

Everyone have very nice energy except front desk. Eyes contact is very important when we talk with someone. Otherwise it will be perfect 10

She did not listen to what was actually going on with me, came in the room telling me she knew exactly what was happening without even looking in my ears first, and generally seemed too full of herself to take the time to listen to her patient. I understand she has seen probably hundreds of patients and felt like she knew what was going on, but I appreciate if you actually know what THIS case is about before declaring you know the cause, especially when what you're saying doesn't make sense in my situation.
