From the moment I walked into the office not one time did I not feel that I was the most important patient they had. From the receptionist, x-ray, medical assistant, doctor, nurse and check out they welcomed me with a smile. Dr. McKenna is an amazing doctor. I will definitely recommend him to family and friends. He is blessed to have such an amazing staff. Thank you for such a great experience. Oh, by the way, he addressed my issue and look forward to the follow up.

This was my first time there. Didn’t expect the experience would be that great. The dr and his staff couldn’t have been more caring and kind to me . I will recommend Dr McKenna to anyone that needs help with there feet. Excellent experience!!!

Got a steroid shot in my big toe that I didn’t feel at all. And it resolved my pain. Wish I had done this a while back for pain relief.

Dr. McKenna was wonderful. He made all my concerns feel valid and he did not rush me out of the door! He had great bedside manner and made sure to answer any questions that I had. He did not rush his exam and he made sure to pinpoint exactly where I was feeling pain in my foot. He also took the time to explain different options of care to take care of the issue. He made sure I had a say in what course of action we would take to fix the problem! Overall great experience and great doctor. I would recommend him to anyone. His nurse was wonderful also, very respectful and helpful. The receptionist at the desk to check out was also wonderful. Very friendly atmosphere all around.

I recently had ankle surgery with Dr. McKenna, and I cannot say enough good things about him and his nurse, Johnna [last name]. From start to finish, they were professional, caring, and made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. Dr. McKenna took the time to explain everything clearly, and Johnna [last name] was kind, helpful, and attentive every step of the way. I truly appreciate their care and would highly recommend them to anyone needing orthopedic care.
What could have been done to improve this visit?
Honestly, I don’t feel anything could have been done better. Dr. McKenna and Johnna [last name] served me with excellent care, kindness, and professionalism from start to finish. They made the entire process as smooth and comfortable as possible, and I truly appreciate everything they did for me.

Dr McKenna made me feel like I was his only patient. Took the time to listen, asked if I had any pain, explained the exrays, telling me everything looked really good. No rush, just genuine doctor care. Have referred him to several friends and will continue to do so.

Dr. McKenna is one of a kind. He sits there and listens to everything you say. He asks questions and actually cares. He tries hard to get it right.

Was there anything outstanding?
I felt relatively pain-free immediately following TT and PF surgery and was overly confident in my activities, thinking I was just fine. Dr. McKenna warned that the pain would increase over a period of time following surgery before it started to feel better. He was accurate, and it hurt like heck for a while, especially after a busy day. But I never lost hope while doing PT to work through the pain. Now, after 3 mo. Post-surgery, I am doing everything that I want to do, including exercise, and have essentially no pain. I am really happy with the outcome of the surgery and being advised properly on what to expect while recovering from this invasive procedure.
