From the receptionists, to the nurses, to Dr. Barnes, everyone was friendly and efficient. They obviously enjoy working for the practice and that shows in the care they show their patients. I was very impressed by Dr. Barnes knowledge and surgical approach and that he shared recent studies with me that guided his care. I feel I am in very good hands with this surgeon.

I have had a somewhat complicated past few months requiring two surgeries with Dr. Barnes. Nothing but the highest respect and appreciation for his work as well as the staff at his office and surgical center.

This was my first visit to see Dr Barnes. My wife came with me for support and to listen and ask any other questions as the feeling of possibly needing surgery was very concerning to me. Dr Barnes displayed great patience and respect as he answered any questions and concerns we both had. We both left feeling very comfortable with Dr Barnes.

Dr. Barnes is always professional and has reviewed the whole applicable medical chart and imaging before my visit. I appreciate his professionalism and consideration for best case scenarios and outcomes. I would personally refer anyone (including family) to Dr. Barnes for the best surgical neurological care.

He was very good at explaining my surgery and hope a very good outcome after surgery. I have been in pain for several years, and hope this procedure will give me some relief. Hoping it will help my mobility. Talking with Dr. Barnes I feel with PT and time, maybe I will be back to my old self.

Could have just called with X-Ray results. Beats me having to find a ride, one that can handle a person in a wheelchair, and trek over to Athens. I really have no bad opinions about Dr. Barnes. He’s a great doctor and I would highly recommend him to others!
