This was my first visit to see Dr Barnes. My wife came with me for support and to listen and ask any other questions as the feeling of possibly needing surgery was very concerning to me. Dr Barnes displayed great patience and respect as he answered any questions and concerns we both had. We both left feeling very comfortable with Dr Barnes.

Dr. Barnes is always professional and has reviewed the whole applicable medical chart and imaging before my visit. I appreciate his professionalism and consideration for best case scenarios and outcomes. I would personally refer anyone (including family) to Dr. Barnes for the best surgical neurological care.

He was very good at explaining my surgery and hope a very good outcome after surgery. I have been in pain for several years, and hope this procedure will give me some relief. Hoping it will help my mobility. Talking with Dr. Barnes I feel with PT and time, maybe I will be back to my old self.

Could have just called with X-Ray results. Beats me having to find a ride, one that can handle a person in a wheelchair, and trek over to Athens. I really have no bad opinions about Dr. Barnes. He’s a great doctor and I would highly recommend him to others!

I have met with a lot of doctors through the years. Dr. Barnes was by far the most patient, and down to earth doctor I’ve ever met. He was able to explain the situation with terms and words that made sense to me. His bedside manner is outstanding!

Dr. Barnes is an exceptional doctor with INCREDIBLE bed side manner. He is so calm, assuring, confident, and compassionate. I thought I was looking at surgery, but I am not. He lifted the fear of the world off my shoukders. He has set forth a path for me and I will do everything he says. Very grateful
