This last visit showed me how much our doctor listens to her patients. She gave us the opportunity to ask any questions we had. Approached my kids in an appropriate manner. From the beginning to the end.

She is very patient. Knowledgeable. As most doctors are these days, pressed for time. It is not something the doctor projects necessarily, but patients know they are under pressure and questions the patients should be asking and don’t, because of this time restraint. We are ultimately responsible for our health.

The doctor didn’t seem to believe me when I told her about my daughter’s diet, which is really high in fiber. Something along the lines of, “I believe you, but at this age constipation is cause by diet.” I told the dr that my daughter hardly drinks any water, but this wasn’t addressed as a concern, no response. She was prescribed a laxative and a plan for taking it, which I appreciated, but what I needed was someone to listen and believe me rather than telling me to “keep trying” with her diet when she already eats a ton of fruits and veggies daily.
