I do not recommend, nor do I appreciate having to see a nurse practioner instead of a doctor. The price of medicare, supplemental insurance, and medical care keeps sky rocketing while the qualifications of care providers keeps dwindling. I have to wonder if St. Luke's is hiring practioners and assistants instead of physicians to enhance their bottom line. In the future if I cannot see a physician at St. Luke's I will be going to KU for medical care.
