I have been to this clinic twice now. The receptionist and assistants are always very nice and helpful.
The rest of the visit is rather cold and impersonal. I can’t identify what it is, but I do not feel like I’m “seen” or a valued customer.
I make the two hour drive because of UAB’s medical research reputation.

I did not have a long wait after I signed in. The staff were very polite and professional. Dr. Samuels answered and questions that I asked and a good report.

Everything I needed done, was done well and everyone was really friendly and caring. The only reason I didn't give a 10 is because the vision test appeared to be on older equipment so for my bad eyes it was really hard to see...on the 4th floor exam rooms, the vision test equipment is brighter, clearer and sharper.

Because for the 1st time everyone was so nice and friendly.Just simply wonderful!!!Really made my day!!!Especially with me being handicap 'They were so eager 😁 to help.Pray when I go back in September I will have the same people who really made me comfortable.

I went to have my eyes checked because they were red, aching and sore and I had a bed headache. Dr. Samuels stood his distance from me and acted like he did not want to touch me. I do not remember him touching or examining my eyes. He just stated that I had pink eyes and I was looking for him to prescribe me something for the pain and soreness and he did not. He claimed that time was the only thing that would heal me. How can you diagnose a patient without touching the eyes? This was my first time going to this location and seeing Dr. Samuels as in the past, I have always gone to downtown, Birmingham Callahan location. I was very disappointed and felt like Dr. Samuels did not take the time and care for me as a human being or patient.
