Brian Mims is fantastic. He is the most caring medical professional I've ever seen. He also "thinks outside the box" to try and figure out what the problem is and how to relieve the discomfort. He's extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to, especially given how personal the medical issues are with his specialty.

My appointment was a consultation to get information needed to schedule a flexible sigmoidoscopy to be performed by a colorectal surgeon at a later date and location chosen during the appointment and provide direction to me on what preparations I need to make. The provider is well qualified and accomplished the purposes of the consultation.

Mr. Mims was an excellent listener & communicator. He explained the procedure throughly beforehand to ease my concerns and made my treatment easy to understand. He is a credit to his field and to Johns Hopkins. I immediately told my family they should use him if they needed a colorectal provider.

Very thorough and knowledgeable. Had records and pictures from past interactions and thus was able to compare and show current status and compare from past and demonstrate progress beyond just verbal description. Helpful. Also, explained possible future treatment options should progress reverse, reiterate what to watch out for and what medication I should have on stand by.
