My experience with everyone who works at the UAB Hoover Oral Surgery Location has been positive. I feel like I'm always treated as an important part of their success and not just a number. I drive three hours one way for each visit.

The oral surgeon did an excellent job explaining things to me. I was processed and seen quickly. However, I was annoyed that I was asked the same screening questions 2-3 times. I was asked and answered the same questions on the phone, online and in person.

Everyone there was so nice and understanding about our situation. Dr Kinard was great and pulled the tooth. I can't say enough about how great they all were.

The nurses and techs are professional and efficient. I have marked panic and anxiety disorder and they all make surely to comfort and soothe me and that is much

Everyone has been really great and nice! The nurse or CNA of Dr Kinard even remember what school my daughter goes to and that made a huge impression on me! She is so personable and kind.

I like Dr Kinard, but didn't care for his resident (a young man who wouldn't listen, interrupted, talked over us and just seemed uncaring).

My main reason for this low score is because we waited in the room after X-rays and being seen by nurse or hygienist and resident for almost an hr. No one ever came in to check on us nor to say sorry for the long wait. I had to go out to inquire about status. Then I was informed Dr. Kinard was stuck in surgery. When he entered the room he never apologized for the wait either. This experience was a waste of time, money and energy. Other than that the check in, the call to the back and xrays process were all good!

Very pleased. Was only coming for consultation but he found time to take care of the issue that day. Was in and out in one hour and a half.
Saved us 1:45 minute drive from Arab. Dr. Kinard was very informative. Only wish they would have followed up with me the next day to see how I was doing.

Dr. Kinard and everyone have been outstanding in every way possible! I will be recommending him to anyone who asks! Thank you to everyone there for making this not-so-fun surgery the absolute best!!! So pleased with the results so far!
