I was referred to Dr Benson by my oncologist at MSK. At a time in my life when I was feeling anxious and alone, Dr. Benson saw me as a patient. He was kind and caring. He explained things to me in a way I understood yet was not condescending. I am extremely grateful to be one of his patients.

The doctor was great but his office was swamped with up to 1 hour or more delays. Had to listen to all the griping patients. Personally I'm to old to be in a hurry. So many patients stuffed in a small waiting area is a good way to catch something.

Doctor Benson provided a very clear comprehensive assessment of my condition. The exam was not rushed in any way. I felt heard, understood and respected. His communication was clear and I had a thorough understanding of the treatment plan.

Dr. Brian Benson explained in detail to me about my diagnosis. I was extremely nervous before my appointment, but as soon as he explained everything to me, I felt so much better. He is very patient and understanding. I would recommend him to anyone!

I would like to say that the doctor is a most excellent physician and a very decent man. Most excellent. The problem with Hackensack is their communication. The new communication system that you have there is terrible. It took four to five days for his office to get back to me. I know it wasn't his problem because people have met anyway. It's not the doctor's problem, it was just the hospital's problem. So you need to fix that. It's very, very bad and it just shuns people away. So that's it. Thank you.

Hackensacks and everybody that works there, the staff, the doctors, is the best. I don't have no bad thing to say about them. If I had to choose, I would love to go to the hospital for the rest of my life. That hospital is top-notch with the medical staff, everybody there, even the people that work, even as a security guard. Keep doing a great job. And thank you for caring for people and for me and for my family. Thank you so much. I appreciate it.

Dr. Benson is very knowledgeable in his field. I feel very comfortable when I go for my visits with him and he takes time to explain everything in detail. I recommend Dr. Benson to anybody that needs an ears, nose and throat.

Hi, Dr. Benson was very nice, very helpful, really, really a pleasure to meet for the first time. I personally would definitely go back again. The reason that I said a 9 and not a 10 for recommending to family is that the wait is really extraordinarily long. I had read online, all the reviews said this about his office, so I knew to expect it, but it seems really unreasonable to have patients wait an hour and a half on such a regular basis. There seems to me there needs to be something done about the whole scheduling process. With that said, I would go back when I knew to come with books and stuff like that. I just think that for professionalism's sake, for the office, it's better to think about how to do this. But Dr. Benson is really wonderful.

He seem knowledgeable and I was pleased with my visit. Only exception was that I was kept waiting for one hour and a half past my scheduled time.

I was just very disappointed in how long I had to wait in the waiting room and then how long I had to wait in the examination room. That to me was almost two hours I was there. It was too long.

Everything that I would have to say about my experiences with Dr. Benson would be positive. My only negative comment would be that you were telephone system is absolutely horrendous. It is almost impossible to reach the office.
