Everyone at Virtua was warm, helpful, and compassionate. There was almost no wait to see my doctor. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Velasco. She is kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She listened carefully to my concerns, explained things with clarity, and answered all of my questions. I have recommended her to friends in the past and will continue to do so.

If it wasn't for Dr. Velasco I don't know where I would be with my health today. She has been the only Gastroenterologist that has ever listened to me since I was a child regarding treatments for any issue that has come up over the years.

I think Dr. Velasco is a great doctor whom has compassion for her patients. My only complaint is she is very difficult to get an appointment with.

I forget the name of the xray tech who explained the procedure and stayed w me thru but she was excellent. I knew exactly what to expect and it made all the difference for a not so nice test that had to be done. Ty virtua nurses techs drs.

DrBrenda is an Angel. I cannot say enough about the excellant doctor she is. She is very kind and understanding .She absolutely explains everything to me and we discuss together my plan of care. My telehealth appointment was 12:00 and my provider logged on at 12:30. Not sure if this is how these visits should be handled! Doesn't seem right!

Everything was fine however the doctor should have asked which pharmacy I wanted the products for the colonoscopy prep to be sent. She automatically sent them to my mail order pharmacy instead of my local pharmacy. This oversight was corrected by staff.

Dr. Velasco is always a very helpful and concerned doctor as far as my medical problems are concerned. There's usually not a long wait at all and I certainly trust her and appreciate how she has treated me through the years.

I have been my provider since before Alloed merged with Virtua . If it wasn't for my doctor I would have left Virtua years ago. The fact that the calendar does not open way in advanced . The fact that is is difficult to leave message over the phone and you have to leave message with my chart . Virtua is also not as good as Cooper which I am very please with and where the rest of my doctors are

Dr. Velasco and everyone in the office was friendly, professional and courteous. Dr. Velasco listened to me, explained everything and I know the plan moving forward for most any scenario that test results show. Highly recommend!

This office Never answers the phone. I would not recommend to anyone to go to this practice because you cant get through to make an appt. I saw 3 ladies at the front desk, surely someone can answer the phone. You need to figure this out because Im looking for a new dr that answers their phone. Its terrible to treat your patients like this!
