From check-in to check-out, everyone was welcoming and helpful. My time seemed to have been of value to all of the associates. My appointment with Dr. Bernardini made me feel incredibly trusting of him to handle my POC. All of my questions were answered and I felt my opinions and long-term goals were important when discussing my injury. Although I am nervous and tense about my upcoming surgery, I am confident in his abilities. I also appreciate how prompt and thoughtful the surgical team has been with making sure I understand pre- and post-op expectations at the surgical center. Everyone has had such amazing patience and have been willing to answer any and all questions I have without an ounce of frustration.

The doctor's son's go to school was my son and he made the visit seem like we've known each other for a long time. I don't know if it was the connection that my son and him have to St. Augustine, but the visit was really, really nice for us just meeting him for the first time.

Great to listen to you they make sure you get the right treatment to make sure you're comfortable with it with the process and explain to you step-by-step to make sure you understand how the body works. Muscles joins everything they give your option to take what you want you wanna take by the store? Recommend what they think is right is your option overall I'm happy with it.

It would be nice if he would actually look at the injured area and feel the injured area and address the fluid that needed to be drained and gave that attention. Otherwise, he did really well, but still nobody's actually looked at my knee. They're only looking at imaging instead of actually looking at it to see the issues that could be going on with what you can see visually.

I felt like I was not totally heard with my symptoms and very little was done to help my current pain level and when I messaged the care team, I basically was brushed off and not heard.

Scheduling was easy, however, it was very complicated to eventually get through to someone. On the day of, there was a mistake and a different provider came for my appointment with Dr. Bernardini. I tried to call in and there was a bunch of messages about just implementing a new fencing system. And then I was number 110 in queue or something like that before I could actually get through to anyone. I actually left my house and drove to the Dr. Bernardini's office to speak with the people at the desk, finished it, and then drove home before anyone had even called me back. So the time to actually get through and schedule to someone at Bernardini's office specifically was very difficult because every Cooper number, I'm sorry, every virtual number that I called kept getting rerouted and put into an automated queue, which seemed impossible.

I recommend Dr. Bernardini and the practice to everyone. It's been a very good experience which helped make a very difficult surgery and recovery more pleasant. The experience at the Vantage surgery center was excellent as well.
