Feel like I should have been given some time after the diagnosis to think of questions as to how he came to the diagnosis. Was it my blood work, ekg, or heart monitor. Also alternatives to pacemaker. Like exercise diet vitamins? Just needed more info as to how diagnosis was developed.

Not enough time in appointment to discuss the first time news that needed a pacemaker. Results of monitor and eKG not discussed. Going to get medical record, see for myself and have other appointments if I can get in timely. Appointments way out. I know you know need more Drs. Will also go to PCP so he can explain to me.

I would suggest that for when completing the appointment that there is some kind of a summary that is provided at the checkout desk that gives a little summary about the conclusions, the findings of the doctor, along with recommendations. There weren't any provided in terms of an exit other than what was given during the appointment. You would have to have a written summary and there wasn't one of that nature.

The procedure was excellent. The hospital stay needed a lot of improvement. My husband stay to take care of me. The sleeping arrangements were horrible for him. The monitor kept saying I had no pulse and the alarms went off all night. No one reacted or did anything about it. I hope I never have to stay there again.

I wanted to receive an estimate while I was at the clinic, but they were not able to. They gave me a number to call, and I talked to two people and got an estimate for one of three treatments. I still do not have an estimate or cost for my other two treatments.

Dr. Bogomilov was very knowledgeable, personable, and made a scary situation a lot less scary. He was also the most informed physician I've ever come into contact with about Ehlers-Danlos, and what I could realistically do to treat it and help manage the condition. It was a very positive visit, and I highly recommend him. He's great.

I had two incisions from two surgeries and was in quite a bit of pain. I still am but wasn't offered any pain relief. Even when I was admitted. I asked for Tylenol and received it but was never offered anything to help with the pain and tenderness. Also, I was told I would be going home with an arm restraint bc I wasn't supposed to lift my left arm for a few days and extra padding in case my loop bandages came off and didn't receive either of those. Around 5am the day if my second surgery I got a unnecessary bed bath. I say unnecessary bc I was fully able to bathe myself (I did the night before completely alone) and it was just awkward. I also felt rushed out of my room. I know there were more urgent cardiac patients that came in overnight but I still felt lime I needed to be there a bit longer than I was after having two cardiac procedures back to back. The staff was great. Especially the daytime but there are a lot of steps that should have been followed through on and pain management met prior to being discharged.
