Everything went well. The person who took my history and vitals was very thorough and professional. I felt confident with the doctor and got new information. My only small concern was that after I got my medicine and got home I realized that I wasn't sure about what a couple of prescriptions were for. It would have been nice to have gotten a printed summary of the visit listing all the diagnoses and what each medicine was for.

Dermatology is one of the best run clinics at UAB. Dr. Elewski is an excellent physician who has treated me for years. Fair skin and blue eyes are skin cancer magnets in Alabama.

I waited 35 mins before the resident came to the exam room. Also, I felt rushed and didn't think that enough time was spent with me. I went for a yearly checkup but my body was not checked. Only my concern was addressed. When I questioned whether we should look at my body I was told that we were going to do that next time.

My annual check-up went well; I should have rated my care providers (Amanda, NP and Dr. Elewski) with 10's because they were great. Also, I was seen in a timely manner - also good. Parking at the Whitaker Clinic's building was not great and the facility needs to develop a better plan.
