Dr. Blanc was on call so I visited with Raszana Shoemaker, DNP who was very through going over my chart. I liked her very much. Hopefully I will meet Dr Blanc when I return in 6 months (he replaced Dr. Velez).

I got there at 12 for my 12:15 appointment. They took me within 2 minutes and did the workup immediately. When the nurse was done the doctor came in and we talked for at least 10 minutes. He was knowledgeable and honest. He had also done his homework, he knew my case intimately.

It’s rare to find a Dr that will listen and really take the time to ensure I as the patient understand everything discussed. Especially something as heavy as Leukemia. Outstanding Dr. just outstanding. Everyone asks if I’m at Sylvester. I smile and say no- Holy Cross Dr Blanc. Couldn’t do better.
