Dr. Lacy was amazing. She explained everything at a level that my daughter could understand. Overall experience was the best I've ever had with a gynecologist. My daughter, whose appointment it was, stayed that she liked her a lot and that the experience was better than she had imagined it would be. Would definitely Dr. Lacy. Her MA that did triage was equally as amazing. Her friendly demeanor eased my daughter's anxieties about her appointment.

Dr Lacy was the most caring and compassionate doctor out of all of the doctors my daughter has ever seen! She talked to her on her level. She listened to my daughter and was extremely attentive! I do not have enough positive words to describe our experience!

All the staff we came in contact with (from phone calls, to reception, to students and the doctor were genuinely caring toward us. Also saw examples of staff speaking to patients they recognized in the waiting room as they passed. This is how it is suppose to be! Although the wait was long, that is a good sign because it means the amount of time needed for each patient is being taken. The doctor and student and nurse listened and responded to what was said to them with knowledge and consideration to the concern begin voiced. Options were presented, discussed with patient, mom and doctor. Doctor asked patient for input and questions and in a caring way - looking at the patient, not at a computer. One of the top causes that I believe contributed to such a productive and pleasant encounter was the LACK of USE of a computer during the consultation. Not using a computer forced both doctor and patient to be more connected. This also allowed the doctor to receive more data than just what is heard. The doctor can SEE the patient glance away, tense up, fidget, etc. The patient can more readily tell that doctor heard what the patient said. Doctor and student connected professionally and personally. Doctor was knowledgeable about pharmaceutical choices and read on current research. Students were listening and engaged the patient even with the doctor present. That was nice to see the students do more than just listen. Engagement is a requisite.
