I wish that they would have done a 24 hour later follow up. I have no idea on how to care for my wound. They said it was in MyChart but it is not.

My provider has gone above and beyond my expectations. Treatment plan, next steps, referrals, she's always ensure I left the exam room feeling 100% taken care of and heard. She is always running around and so busy yet when she sits and she's taking her time to make sure I have shared all my concerns. So thank you!

More information concerning aftercare and healing time would be welcomed. Again, ask if a relative or spouse would like to hear the details about an upcoming surgery.

I was unsure about how the appt would be conducted, because it's not exactly a comfortable topic to discuss issues having to do with the colo-rectal region, but Dr. Shanker put me at ease, so that I did not feel as uncomfortable.
