This was my first visi to Dr. McCallister. He first put me at ease with his comments. His explanation of my condition answered many of the questions I had. He took the time to answer other questions I had. I never felt rushed.

He’s always prepared at the start of the visit.
Listens to what I have to say. Looks at me. Helps me understand my condition. He has been willing to change medication until we found the correct combination.
He’s compassionate. He took his time. I felt like I had his full attention.
He’s a great doctor.

He has helped me understand my medicalIssues. Under his supervision I believe he found the medication that works best for me. I like his follow through. Always leaves me with the knowledge that he’s just a call away if I need him. I feel confident I’m stable with my condition With his guidance.

Unable to schedule follow up appointments. This is a repeating issue. Whether 3 months or a year unable to schedule which them leads to forgetting to set up the next appointment and after remembering, having to wait months. All this could be avoided with an expanded calendar or a system for scheduling later, getting a call or auto prompt to schedule.

Dr. McAllister was kind, patient, and made me feel that my concerns were heard. He gave me some methods with which to follow up on my concerns, as I stated earlier. In addition, I was made to feel welcome to return for further evaluation if the need arises. I appreciate the communication and efficiency of this doctor and his staff.

I have doctored with Michigan Heart, Ypsilanti, for almost 10-years. I switched to Dr. McCallister as my Cardiologist for good reasons. It was most definitely the right thing to do.

Dr. McCallister and his staff are courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Dr. McCallister doesn't beat around the bush or sugar coats anything, he tells it like it is. It's easy to schedule an appointment with Dr. McCallister. And he's very good and quick with replying to MyChart messages. I've been with him for over eight years and will continue being his patient. If anybody asks for a referral, I would refer Dr. McCallister in a heartbeat.

Dr. McCallister is very courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I've been a patient of Dr. McCallister for over 8 years and have never ever had any problems with trying to make an appointment to meet with him or with the actual appointment. He or his office is very good and quick to respond to my messages to him via MyChart. With that said, you could say I trust him with my life. I would definitely recommend Dr. McCallister in a heartbeat to anyone who asks about him or for a referral.
