I was really taken aback when I was asked during the intake call whether I was born in the U.S. In today’s political climate that question seems inappropriate. The caller could not explain why that question was being asked. I wasn’t upset with her but annoyed by the question.

The only thing I didn’t like about my visit was that I wasn’t given the option to decline a student who was practicing for my ultrasound. They just told me that she was going to do it.
