Dr, Bashall was very interested in my health and how I am handling things. He was very conpasionate and professional. He informed me of things I needed to know and took time to listen to me and my husband and our concerns.

Dr. Bashall’s Shelbyville office staff seems disorganized. On my first visit, they neglected to tell me I needed a test done beforehand, ordered the incorrect test afterwards, and scheduled for the wrong date for a follow up.
Second visit,1/20, in Indy, was a follow up (which I had to correctly reschedule) from my initial visit, and from an ECG which I had done in the Indy office in December. The cardiologist had no idea why I was there - thought I was an ER follow up. He did not have and could not find the ECG report, and didn’t seem to want to take the time to do so that day. He also didn’t have my cholesterol lab results, which were done at MHP, where he has rights. So there was no actual follow up done. He said he would get them later and would call me. I wasted a half day of PTO and my time. Again, he seemed in a hurry to leave.
I get not having your stuff together, but this isn’t a podiatrist’s office; this is a cardiologist’s office. My heart health is something I take seriously, and if this cardiologist doesn’t, I’ll find another.

I feel Dr Bashall truly cares not only about my current health but also my long term care. Over the past 1 year his recommended treatment allowed me to reduce my medications and improve my #'s significantly.
He explains things in terms that are completely understandable.

He is kind and compassionate and is always looking for ways to improve my health. He encourages me to take better care of myself and celebrates the smallest wins when I am moving in the right direction. He goes out of his way to make sure I am well cared for but that I also feel cared about. I love the IHP staff.
