I was treated with professionalism, respect, and genuine care by Dr. Shuman. He took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, and explained everything in a clear, easy-to-understand way without ever making me feel rushed.What stood out most was the level of expertise combined with compassion. In that we are dealing with a cancer, his manner was most comforting and reassuring.The office staff was also friendly, efficient, and well-organized, making appointments and follow-ups smooth and stress-free.I’m very grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend this urologist to anyone looking for knowledgeable, attentive, and compassionate medical care.

I don’t feel I can really rate the doctor since I spent so little time with him. I understand there will be times when the doctor gets behind schedule. Staff perhaps could have been more frank about how far behind he was so that I could reschedule my later meetings as soon as I got to my appointment or even rescheduled my appointment with the doctor. That way I would not have been anxiously watching the clock the whole time II waited.

He is a model of how doctors should assess and inform patients. He takes time to listen and even respond to requests the patient may feel could be explored. He is polite and careful with how he preforms procedures which may be necessary but uncomfortable for patients. Really a very person and professional.
