I have been seeing Dr.Shuman for 15-20 years. If I wasn't happy with him or his staff I would have left by now.

You know, it always seems suspect when someone just gives all the highest marks possible, like they're going through the motions to get through the survey. Dr. Shuman earns those marks!

I don’t feel I can really rate the doctor since I spent so little time with him. I understand there will be times when the doctor gets behind schedule. Staff perhaps could have been more frank about how far behind he was so that I could reschedule my later meetings as soon as I got to my appointment or even rescheduled my appointment with the doctor. That way I would not have been anxiously watching the clock the whole time II waited.

He is a model of how doctors should assess and inform patients. He takes time to listen and even respond to requests the patient may feel could be explored. He is polite and careful with how he preforms procedures which may be necessary but uncomfortable for patients. Really a very person and professional.

Dr. Shuman is the best. Cancer is a very scary and unnerving diagnosis.I trust his knowledge and expertise in caring for me as a patient. I trust him essentially with my life in that treatment.
