Dr. Barbara Alvir is the best. She is not only knowledgeable but very approachable too. She is kind, friendly, attentive and optimistic. She always makes me feel comfortable when I ask questions or when I want to discuss any concerns I might have. She is very thorough in giving feedback regarding my current condition and treatment plan. Thank you for being such an amazing doctor!

Dr. Alvir did not review my chart or my name before she came so I had to sit there and listen to her catch up on everything which wasted a lot of my time. She did ask me about my medical history but did not believe me and had to check for herself which made me feel inferior and stupid.

I’ve been seeing Dr Alvir for many years. She is thorough and knowledgeable. She informs of options for care without pushing them on you. I also feels like she cares about me as a person. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Alvir never remembers anything about my history even when I tell her minutes before it’s like she doesn’t hear me? Or it’s not registering with her. And then she’ll ask me the same question again later on. And she puts words in my mouth sometimes. Like she’ll say something and then she’ll say is that right? And it’s not right. It’s really annoying.And when I asked her a question, she doesn’t usually answer it, but goes around in circles and I don’t feel satisfied
