Dr Azar answers all my questions & concerns & is very knowledgeable about my cancer. I feel very confident & comfortable in his care .

Dr. Azar was very friendly from the initial greeting onward. I like how he asked questions, and how he took time to use a page of paper to make notes and, later, rationalize how he arrived at his treatment decision. He listened carefully to my rationale, and addressed every point I made -- most importantly, my own medical history/background. Although I was not a good candidate for the treatment I requested, he explained why in a clear and calm way with which I could not disagree. At the very least, I felt "heard" and "understood."

Dr Azar is very pleasant and easy to talk to. He answers all questions and gave me adequate time to make sure I understand everything.

Dr Azar is an amazing Dr. He takes so much time going over every test and even goes as far as drawing pictures!!

Dr Azar, oncologist for Trinity Health care, St. Joseph Hospital could not have been more pleasant and easy to talk to about my cancer. He was always open to my questions and concerns. I trust him and appreciate his professional opinion and ability to explain medical things I may fear and/or don’t understand. He also has a great sense of humor.

Dr Azar was very professional during our visit. He answered all of my questions and even drew some pictures to show me what was happening to my body. He took his time and waited for me to think about his responses and ask for interpretation, in case I did not comprehend the medical information he was giving me. I worked in hospice/homecare for approximately 17 Years for Trinity (Mercy Home Care and Hospice) and two other hospices, during which time I met several physicians certainly respected their professional information, but I did not always appreciate their “bedside manner.” I also worked as a clinical therapist and Substance abuse Counselor in two other jobs. I sincerely appreciate the necessity for treating consumers with dignity and respect. Dr. Azar was wonderful. I won’t hesitate to trust him with my care. He gives me hope for my medical future. Thank you Dr. Azar.
