Autumn Martin and her medical staff are great. The check in process with Vascular Surgery was not - because insurance was not billed for this, someone adjacent to the woman doing the check in announced that I needed to pre-pay and that I should know the amount. She then got on the phone to find out what that was - with my name and procedure - at a volume that announced it to the entire waiting area (so much for HIPPA). A bill showed up in my chart the day afterwards, and when I contacted billing to have my prior payment applied I was told that there was no need for me to prepay. I would love for there to be more clarity with the check in area with regard to billing procedures, and more respect for patient privacy.

She was very thorough, explaining everything as I was going thru it……somehow, ahead of this procedure, I did not receive an information packet that was usually given before this procedure but she made sure I was given one which had helpful info in it…..
