No, the doctors are always in a big rush these days due to economics and the greed at the end of the line, I guess, with whatever's going on with the healthcare system at this point.

As a new patient, I expected her to ask questions such as, "is there anything bothering you?" Or to be aware of certain medical conditions I'm already dealing with. I felt very rushed.

Dr. Islam was very professional and very courteous to me. She voiced any concerns she had and was very interested in any concerns that I had! She asked if I had any questions and was genuinely interested in anything I had to say! The entire staff was respectful and professional!

This is the first doctor who treated me with respect, empathy & a desire to figure out why I feel so sick all of the time. She did not doubt me nor label me as a hypochondriac who is "too aware of your body." That is never a helpful thing to say to a patient, let alone suggest that nonsense towards a female in need of real answers! Thank you!!!

This appointment was designated as a physical. It was made clear to me, both explicitly and implicitly that I should not bring up health concerns. This apparently had something to do with insurance and billing. Regardless, it all seemed rushed and there was very little opportunity for discussion. Provider tended to defer to my specialists and was reluctant to offer her own opinions about things.

Everyone was professional, friendly and helped me to feel very comfortable. Dr. Islam was very thorough in getting to know me and my medical file! She listened to what I had to say and questioned me when she needed to. I never felt rushed. It was a very pleasant 1st visit with Dr. Islam. I look forward to having her as my doctor!
