Waiting in office to be seen was two hour wait. That was ridiculous. Never want to sit that long again.

Dr. Yunas is an excellent doctor. He treats his patients like family, giving the best possible care he can give. I would recommend him to friends and family.

Dr Yunus listens and explains things better than any other doctor I've encountered. He takes the time to make sure I understand what's happening to me and what the plan is for getting back to good health..

I was told to arrive 30 minutes before appointment. Than I waited two hours to be seen. Take a book along to read.

Dr. Unis has explained care /procedures very well and listened to my comments/questions. The only thing that was negative is that my appointment was at [time] am and I didn't get in to see him until after 2:00 pm. There may have been an emergency that caused the back up in scheduling and totally not his fault.

Dr Yunus went above and beyond. He helped me solve a problem I was having getting care for that was not heart related. I will be forever grateful.

He is great. But I waited about 2 hours to see him. And then for 4 5 min. What we talked about and up coming llanciuldhave been done by phone. He learned nothing new from me and diagnosis. And plan could easily been done via phone in 10 but probably 5 minutes He is top notch and knows his "stuff.". All I office andhisnurse were very courteous.

It was my first office visit to see Dr. Yunus and I was impressed. He comes to our area once a week so obviously it was a busy office but worth the wait. Very understanding and offered options for treatment. Office personnel were very friendly. When they called me for the next step, I had a question and they sought out the answer for me immediately.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Likely one of the most skilled EP physicians in Michigan However, he is only one man. He is overworked, schedule is over booked. The ability to contact and get in quickly to be seen for a problem is nonexistent. This results in the need to go to the ER. And my experience in the ER at St Mary’s was horrific. The system and patients need this physician. It is the responsibility of MyMichigan to provide this physician with the support and staff to safely and effectively care for patients.

Always know where you stand. Explains things in a way you understand and uses visuals also. Everyone listens and lets you ask questions

I sat waiting to be seen for over almost two hours and waited over an hour in the room. Then was seen for two minutes to be given info that could have phoned to me. I like Dr. Unis but he was very overbooked.

appointment was for 2 PM. Did not see the doctor till 4:30 PM . Was in examination room for a hour and a half. This is unacceptable the staff said this is a regular occurrence.

Very good Dr. Staff very nice. Sometimes it took awhile to get a response, told to schedule an ablation with Dr. when I was in recovery from an ablation from Dr. Yunis

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
He is a very smart doctor that tries pushing his private nutrition business on his patients. He made medication changes that staff never acknowledged or would call into my pharmacy. Testing results were never called to me, I had to call to get these results. My appointments were over 2 months apart (my test and office visit. I was given very vague test results at best. Because he is the only EP doctor in my area, I don't know if there's another doctor that would meet my needs.

There was about half hour delay in him visiting me in exam room but he was thorough in his assessment and explained my condition very well and treatment options and recommendations. He was not in any hurry to leave the room. I was very satisfied with his service.

Dr. Unus is a very busy man. You can’t always see him but instead, see his PA or NP. However, they are on top of things and communicate well. If your situation is serious, you will be able to see him, but you may have to wait in the exam room and waiting room for a long time. We waited for 1/2 hour in the client waiting area and one and a half hours in the exam room to see him. He is always so busy. But he is very good and worth the wait! He has much compassion and is genuinely very caring.

I met Dr. Yunus back in [year] and shortly thereafter he replaced my pacemaker. My husband and I moved out of state for several years and were fortunate to move back to Michigan and thankful he was still at the Saginaw facility where I was able to resume my care with Dr. Yunus as my Electrophysiology provider. I am 100% satisfied with the care he provided me years ago and again now.

I drove over 2 hours and waited almost 2 hours in the waiting room to have a 5 minute follow up with Dr Unis. He was running behind, but the office didn't inform any of the patients about this. Once I finally got into my consultation room, I did let the nurse know I was a little frustrated with the wait and lack of communication. She got a little upset with me and told me that I should have expected to wait to see a specialist--especially if he has to be more detailed with other cardiac/pulmonary patients. Next time, I need to bring something to read to pass the time. When Dr Unis came in, he was very short and seemed to push me thru the appointment--as if I wasn't as important as the ones that made me sit there for the 2 hours. I understand being busy and having emergencies arise; however, communication and compassion need to be presented at all times. I feel like my appointment didn't matter, and my speaking up about things caused for a less than comfortable experience.
