What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Unus is a very busy man. You can’t always see him but instead, see his PA or NP. However, they are on top of things and communicate well. If your situation is serious, you will be able to see him, but you may have to wait in the exam room and waiting room for a long time. We waited for 1/2 hour in the client waiting area and one and a half hours in the exam room to see him. He is always so busy. But he is very good and worth the wait! He has much compassion and is genuinely very caring.

Very good doctor except for scheduling patients. Last appointment ran almost 3 hours late.

Dr. Yunus and his staff are excellent. I recommend him for care. He is very busy, but takes the time needed to have a thorough appointment.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I met Dr. Yunus back in [year] and shortly thereafter he replaced my pacemaker. My husband and I moved out of state for several years and were fortunate to move back to Michigan and thankful he was still at the Saginaw facility where I was able to resume my care with Dr. Yunus as my Electrophysiology provider. I am 100% satisfied with the care he provided me years ago and again now.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I drove over 2 hours and waited almost 2 hours in the waiting room to have a 5 minute follow up with Dr Unis. He was running behind, but the office didn't inform any of the patients about this. Once I finally got into my consultation room, I did let the nurse know I was a little frustrated with the wait and lack of communication. She got a little upset with me and told me that I should have expected to wait to see a specialist--especially if he has to be more detailed with other cardiac/pulmonary patients. Next time, I need to bring something to read to pass the time. When Dr Unis came in, he was very short and seemed to push me thru the appointment--as if I wasn't as important as the ones that made me sit there for the 2 hours. I understand being busy and having emergencies arise; however, communication and compassion need to be presented at all times. I feel like my appointment didn't matter, and my speaking up about things caused for a less than comfortable experience.

Dr Yunus is the best! You usually have to wait awhile to see him but I understand because he spends as much time with you as needed to get all of your concerns answered. I would wait all day just to see him.

I would highly recommend to family and friends because there is something special about this office. I have confidence in the fact that the knowledge and care patients receive is high quality. At the same time, there is no arrogance. The office provides excellent care, service, efficiency and timeliness. I had another engagement after the appointment and I felt confident I could do both that morning because of how efficient they are in managing the office. Dr Yunus is on top of your history and latest tests. He takes time to make sure you understand what is going on! I am often complimenting him to others.

Dr. Yunus is very thorough. He wanted to know how I was feeling with my current medication. He even told me if I needed to try another medication to call him. I just retired and moved to the area and was nervous at first. He has treated me with respect and cares about my health. I will definitely tell others to get treatment from him.
