Meeting Dr. Austin was a pleasure. She recognized my issues and communicated in a way that was easy to understand. The nurse who did my intake and assisted Dr. Austin was also professional, friendly and welcoming. I requested my husband be included. Again, Dr. Austin made him feel very comfortable listening to his input/concerns.

Dr. Austin and her staff are fantastic and made me feel safe for getting two shots. In the past I've had to had my son's come with me to relax me. This was a wonderful experience.

Dr. Austin is an understanding doctor and an excellent listener. She took time to understand how my injury started and assured me I will get back to my old self. I loved that although she did mention that something do come with age, I should still be active and not in pain. I have had other doctors (NOT at HSS) that don't take my injuries seriously because I am a middle aged woman and not a pro athlete. Thank you Dr. Austin!

Dr. Austin functions as de facto primary care provider for my numerous muscular-skeletal issues. No doctor listens and explains better than her She’s the very best.

They were amazing and I felt exceptionally cared for upon leaving. My follow up visit with them/her was even better than the initial as they had carefully assessed my condition and made references to my GP for my follow up care in a most expedient manner.

Gave a careful, detailed clinical description of the inflexibility and deformity in my right hand. Offeredhelpful suggestions for personal at-home physical therapy to alleviate some of the issues of restricted use of my right hand

All of the staff from HSS always treats people with respect and are friendly. Dr. Austin is excellent at listening and answering all questions, as well as explaining what to expect and feel with the treatment. Her touch is light and even when injecting me with gel shots for osteoarthritis, I don't feel fear or terrible pain.

Dr Austin is fantastic. Obviously respectful to her patients and also to her staff. Sense of humor, and a great listener. Explained things and asked questions to make sure we understood everything. I would go back to her absolutely every time.

Ashley Austin MD was great. She explained everything to me in simplest terms.
The gentleman that took care of me before Ashley came was very friendly as well.
And the gentleman that did the x rays was awesome too. Overall my visit was positive.

I've had a lot of experience at HSS dating back 20 years. (4 prior surgeries) Dr. Austin and her staff far exceeded any prior visits. Not only did they get me into a room within 15 minutes (I often cooled my heels for up to 2 hours in the waiting room with my previous surgeon) She not only valued my time but offered me options, which were carefully explained. I was incredibly pleased with the "upgrades" in every way. Big fan.
