From scheduling to receiving the service needed, it was an excellent experience. Very personable staff and doctor are top notch. I needed specific inoculations for upcoming international travel.
Should my regular doctor retire, I would definitely go here for any needed care.

This was actually the best doctor I've ever seen in my entire life. He actually knew more about my condition than the neurologist I go and see regularly. He informed me on medication and the reasons why I should take certain things and what's going on if I'm not taking them. He had multiple

No, it was fantastic. I got there, didn't have an appointment, and the ladies at the front desk found an appointment the very next day. I was able to go there and see him. Dr. [last name] was my guy, and the other guy, Islas, he came in. He was absolutely fantastic on the spot. Everything was awesome. He got me to get my x-rays. He did everything, and then after like three hours after my x-rays were done, She called me and gave me the, everything, the feedback for my x-rays. So I knew everything was great. No, it was excellent. That guy has taught me much. Very good. Super, super pleased. How do I stop? I'm grateful.

We have never been to University Health or seen Dr. Islas before. We feel fortunate to have found his information on an online site for Travel Medicine. Dr. Islas was extremely knowledgeable about travel medicine needs globally (vaccinations, health concerns, safety) and provided detailed education on important aspects of our specific travel locations. The two students observing were respectful and attentive to the learning environment. Needed vaccines were available and the medical assistant was very adept in delivering shots. The entire experience was exceptional and we highly recommend Dr. Islas, University Health, and especially the option of Travel Clinic for Renown patients. We feel ready for travel (correct vaccinations for our ages/ medical history/ destinations; important safety information; necessary documentation for entry into Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania). Thank you.

As I arrived very early, the receptionist advised Dr Islas and he took me right in. I did not have to wait! He was very thorough, asked me questions and listened respectfully to what I told him. Very impressed with the entire experience.

Very happy with Dr. Islas and the travel medicine advice he provided. Would highly recommend him. (Our primary care provider had interned under him and recommended we make an apt to see him re vaccines—good advice!)

I had a very good visit with Dr. Islas and I asked for some changes to my medicines and he worked with me to accommodate that. He always listens to me. I really enjoyed the visit for the new year. I was actually going to send an inter-office memo saying, hey I really thank you and appreciate you for always taking such good care of me and now I'm leaving this type of message here. Thank you.
