The only issues I really had were with the physician, Anthony. I did not feel that he showed much empathy, and I also don’t feel that I was adequately prepared for how excruciatingly painful the procedure was going to be. I understand that some pain can be expected, but I feel patients should be given a more realistic explanation beforehand so they know what to expect. The nurse, however, was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, compassionate, and very supportive throughout the procedure, and I truly appreciated her. At this point, if I am offered this procedure again in three months, I would not choose to have it done again.

I have been experiencing left hip pain for over a year, and the steroid injection I received on Tuesday has provided tremendous relief. I am extremely pleased with the results and very grateful to finally have significant relief from the pain and discomfort I’ve been dealing with for so long. In working with the Community Care provider through the VA system , they were very responsive and accepted me as a patient immediately and followed up with a phone call within days of my referral. Would recommend to any Vet that lives in our rural community, my personal experience has been positive.

Received an appointment quickly. Was asked if a med student could be involved before bringing him in. Asked if out conversation could be recorded and why they wanted to record it. I felt listened to and was very satisfied. Talked about diagnosis plan of care and prognosis.
